The meet and greet, held by the city, gave the three Loveland Police Department chief candidates - Timothy Doran, the assistant chief of the Fort Collins Police Services David Farrow, deputy chief of the Field Operations Bureau for the Goodyear Police Department in Arizona and Anita Koester, division chief and overseer of the Patrol Division for the Lakewood Police Department - the opportunity to speak to the Loveland community about what they would do should they be chosen to lead the department.Ĭity Manager Steve Adams said in that in the city’s search for a new chief, they started with 44 applicants for the position, which was whittled down to 16 candidates and finally four Philip Gonshak, one of the candidates, withdrew his application Wednesday after accepting another role, leaving three under consideration.Įach candidate was asked a series of questions by Bob Carden, a senior consultant for Prothman - the consulting company that led the search for the chief - for the first hour of the event.
